Warner achieved this milestone in just 19 innings, outperforming Tendulkar and former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers, who both achieved the feat in 20 innings. The left-handed batsman sealed the record by smashing a boundary off Hardik Pandya’s delivery.

Additionally, Warner became the fourth Australian batter to reach the 1,000 runs mark in ODI World Cups. He joins the likes of Ricky Ponting (1,743 runs), Adam Gilchrist (1,085 runs), and Mark Waugh (1,004 runs) in this elite club.
