CHENNAI: The police in Tamil Nadu capital Chennai have arrested a 39-year-old individual, identified as J Murali Krishnan, who threw a petrol bomb at a temple on Friday.
Fortunately, no injuries or damages were reported.
Krishnan, described as “heavily drunk,” was swiftly subdued and taken into custody.
A resident living under Kothawal Chavadi police station limits, Krishnan claimed frustration over unanswered prayers as the motive for his actions.
The police have registered a case under the Explosive Substances Act, and investigations are ongoing.
