[ad_1]

Hogwarts Legacy, the game based on the Harry Potter series, is now available for the Nintendo Switch console. The game was initially released in February for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and the PS4 and Xbox One versions followed in May. However, the much-awaited Switch version was delayed and released on November 14.
The developers explained that the Switch version was delayed to ensure that players have the best possible experience. However, the ageing hardware of the Switch console may have also contributed to the delay, as third-party publishers have faced similar issues in the past.
Hogwarts Legacy is available for $60 in the Nintendo Store. There is also a Deluxe Edition available for $70, which includes a Dark Arts Pack featuring a Dark Arts cosmetic set and a new battle arena.
In the game, players can choose and customise their characters, including which Hogwarts House to join. They will then learn to cast spells, brew potions, and master different magical abilities. The game is set over a hundred years before Harry and his friends enter the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
Set during the late 19th century (about 100 years before the events in the Harry Potter series), the players will find themselves in the magical world of Hogwarts, where they learn to cast spells, brew potions, and master combat abilities from their professors and fellow students.
Within the Wizarding World, players will be able to customise their character with different appearances, genders, voices, and body types while also choosing one of four Hogwarts Houses to join — Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin.
Throughout the game, players can develop their own unique combat style to earn experience points for upgrades and boosts. This is the “Deluxe Edition” of the game, which comes with the game itself, as well as the “Dark Arts Pack” with a Dark Arts cosmetic set, a Thestral mount, and a Dark Arts battle arena.
Since its release in February, “Hogwarts Legacy” has sold more than 15 million copies across platforms and has generated over $1 billion globally.
