iQoo, the spun-off brand of Vivo, has launched its newest flagship phone, the iQoo 12, in India. The iQoo 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, making it the first smartphone to launch with this chipset in India. Here’s all you need to know about the iQoo 12.
iQoo 12: Price, availability in India
The iQOO 12 is available in two storage variants – 12GB+256GB for Rs 52,999 and 16GB+512GB for Rs 57,999.The phone will be available to purchase through Amazon.in and the company’s official store starting December 13 for priority pass holders, while the open sales begin on December 14.
There is an instant Rs 3000 discount for HDFC and ICICI card holders. Additionally, there is an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000, and a loyalty bonus for 2,000 those exchanging their Vivo and iQoo phones.
iQoo is offering six months of extended warranty.

iQoo 12 features a flat 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has 1440Hz PWM dimming and can achieve up to 1,600 nits of brightness, with a peak mode of 3,000 nits.
The iQOO 12 are available in two colours – the Legend Edition is available in white with a BMW logo and Alpha has a glass back.
The phone comes equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with an in-house Q1 chip and V1 imaging chip. The chipset is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Backed up by a 5000mAh battery, the phone supports 120W wired fast charging. The phone runs FunTouch OS 14, which has no Hot Apps and Hot Games included. iQoo has promised 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
The Q1 co-processor inside ensures smooth gaming performance, enabling frame sensing technology, real-time load monitoring, and precise scheduling. The Q1 chip enables features like gaming at 144Hz@1080P, low latency frame insertion, superframe, and super-resolution.
The VAPT Adaptive Mode manages power consumption for stable frame rates. The phone has an aviation aluminium middle frame, a 5,705mm² vapour chamber, and 11 temperature sensors, ensuring efficient performance and heat dissipation.
The iQOO 12 boasts a triple camera setup. Its primary sensor is a 50MP 1/1.3-inch OmniVision OV50H sensor, paired with a 23mm optically-stabilised lens. There is a telephoto camera, featuring a 64MP ½-inch sensor, with a 70mm f/2.57 3x lens. The lens is capable of 10x ‘HD zoom’ and up to 100x digital zoom.
