The Unpacked event will take place at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam at 4.30 PM IST. Samsung has already confirmed that it will launch its Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones at the event. Along with the two smartphones, the company will also launch its latest Galaxy Watch series and Galaxy Tab S series at the event.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to come with an impressive 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. Under its foldable exterior, the smartphone is expected to pack the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, ensuring high-performance capabilities. Running on the Android 13 operating system with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 layer, users can anticipate a seamless and user-friendly experience. To ensure all-day usage, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is rumored to be powered by a sturdy 4,400 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to showcase a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a pixel resolution of 1080×2640, alongside a 3.4-inch outer screen, according to reports. Underneath its foldable exterior, this device is rumored to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and it will run on the Android 13 operating system with the user-friendly One UI 5.1 interface.
In terms of storage options, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is anticipated to be available in two variants: 256GB and 512GB. Additionally, the smartphone is said to feature a dual rear camera setup and a 3,700 mAh battery
