NEW DELHI: Satya Nadella, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft and co-owner of the Seattle Orcas, was in attendance for his team’s final clash against MI New York at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas on Sunday.
Ahead of the final, Nadella, a keen cricket enthusiast even bowled a delivery in the playing arena. Nadella was accompanied by Krishna Sudheendra, CEO of UST Global.
Seattle Orcas shared a video of Nadella and Sudheendra taking the field ahead of the final.
Based out of Seattle Washington State, the Seattle Orcas are owned by an investor group including Nadella, Soma Somasegar, Samir Bodas, Ashok Krishnamurthi, and Sanjay Parthasarathy – and the GMR Group.
Seattle Orcas lost to MI New York in the final by 7 wickets.
