Chahal was brought in the attack with the Windies 29/0 after 4 overs. Chahal struck immediately trapping Kyle Mayers leg-before for 1 and removed fellow opener Brandon King (28) the same way two balls later.
Chahal bowled a full delivery on the stumps, pushed through in the air, Mayers missed the sweep and was struck in front of off-stump. Mayers had a word with King and didn’t go for the review.
On the third ball of the over, Chahal bowled a leg break with a flatter trajectory that pitched and slid on straight. Playing down the wrong line, King missed the forward defence and was given out by the umpire. It looked plumb but King went for the review but the replays confirmed it was out.
From 29/0, the Windies were suddenly 30/2. Chahal finished with figures of 2/24 off 3 overs, as India lost the match by 4 runs.
