Tiranga: PM Narendra Modi asks citizens to post photos with Tiranga: How to upload your Tiranga selfies

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked citizens to upload photos with Tiranga on harghartiranga.com website under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement between 13th to 15th August.

“The Tiranga symbolises the spirit of freedom and national unity. Every Indian has an emotional connect with the Tricolourand it inspires us to work harder to further national progress. I urge you all to take part in the #HarGharTiranga movement between 13th to 15th August.

Upload your photos with the Tiranga here… https://harghartiranga.com,” said PM in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is an initiative by the Ministry of Culture launched in the year 2022 to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The ministry also launched the Har Ghar Tiranga website that allows Indian citizens to pin the national flag virtually as well as share their selfies with Tiranga.
How to upload Tiranga selfies
Citizens can upload their selfie with the national flag on the Har Ghar Tiranga website. Here are the steps to post your selfie with the flag on the Har Ghar Tiranga website:
* Click on ‘Upload Selfie with Flag’ button. The option is there on the homepage of the website
* A pop-up will appear, write your name on it.
* Upload your Tiranga selfie, users can dropdown files here.
* Click on ‘Submit’ button. Please note that you will need to give your consent to use your name and photos on the ‘harghartiranga.com’ website to upload selfie.

The page also allows users to search their Tiranga selfies. “If your selfie is not showing, you will be able to see your selfie from 16 August 2023, 8:00 am onwards,” says the page.
