“Our spinners have that kind of wicket-taking knack, they are aggressive with their intent as well, which I like. For us, we keep things simple, and we don’t let the intensity drop,” Pandya said at the toss of the 4th T20I against West Indies in Lauderhill, Florida.
After losing the first two matches, India bounced back in an emphatic manner by registering a comfortable victory in the third game to keep the series alive. And Hardik reckons it is the hunger to perform that gets the better of them.
“I don’t think much will change. I think the boys turned up very well, they were excited and at the same time, they realised that they have to show some more hunger as well. Everyone chipped in, the bowlers did the job and then Tilak and Surya came in and closed the game with the bat,” he added.
West Indies skipper Rovman Powell opted to bat after winning the toss. The hosts brought in Jason Holder, Shai Hope and Odean Smith in the playing XI, while leaving out Johnson Charles Alzarri Joseph and Roston Chase.
India fielded an unchanged side.
