LG StanbyMe Go: Key specs
The StanbyMe Go sports a 27-inch LED touchscreen which is attached to a stand within a case. The screen can be tilted, rotated, raised and lowered while in landscape or portrait orientations and table mode.
LG StanbyMe Go boasts a built-in 20-watt speaker that adapts to the screen’s orientation and claims to provide optimal surround sound. The device also supports Dolby Vision video technology and Dolby Atmos stereo sound.
The outer case features interior compartments that can be used to hold accessories and a built-in battery. LG StanbyMe Go promises up to three hours of viewing time between charges and can be carried using the built-in handle. This device will allow users to enjoy movies, games and music outdoors.
Equipped with LG’s webOS software, the StanbyMe Go supports AirPlay 4. The device also supports screen mirroring with iOS and Android devices. It also supports pairing via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The StanbyME Go also has a voice recognition functionality for changing channels and searching for content in hands-free mode.
LG StanbyMe Go: Price and availability
The portable LED TV from LG is priced at $999 (about Rs 83,000) and is available exclusively on the company’s official website. Customers who pre-order the StanbyMe Go on LG.com by August 27 will be able to avail of a free LG XBoom 360-degree Bluetooth speaker (XO3QBE) (priced at $299.99). LG has confirmed that pre-orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and both items may ship separately.
