BENGALURU: A restaurant worker from Sikkim who complained that he was thrashed by three bike-borne miscreants and allegedly called “Chinese” in Bengaluru earlier this week actually suffered injuries after “falling in an inebriated condition”, police said Saturday, adding they had “not found any clues of assault, at least as of now”. Dinesh Subba had said in his complaint that he was hit by the trio in the Electronics City area as he walked back home after a party in the wee hours of August 16.
“The investigation is on,” said Bengaluru DCP (southeast) CK Baba.
