IPhone 15: This may be the most ‘in-demand’ iPhone of 2023

We are exactly a week away from the big unveil from Apple. The Cupertino-based tech company has announced its big event on September 12, where it will launch the iPhone 15 series. As expected, there’s a lot of buzz around the upcoming iPhones. Rumour mills have been buzzing with leaks and morsels of information from all corners. It is expected that the iPhone 15 series will have four models — iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. A report by Digitimes suggests that the most expensive iPhone of 2023 will also be the most in-demand. Or at least that’s what Apple expects.
According to the report, Apple’s supply chain partners have received the order estimates for the iPhone 15 series. The report suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro Max grabs the maximum share of the total orders. The iPhone 15 Pro comes in second followed by the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

iPhone 15 Pro Max: Rumoured features

The biggest rumoured upgrade for the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be in the camera setup. Apple is expected to add a periscope lens to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The periscope lens would allow for much better zoom capabilities than the current 3x zoom on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
It is also expected that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be powered by the new A17 Bionic chip. This will be Apple’s latest and most powerful mobile chip, which is expected to offer significant performance and efficiency improvements over the A16 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14 series.
Another major change for the iPhone could be the Type-C port as Apple is expected to switch from the proprietary Lightning port to the more widely used USB-C port. An all-new action button is also rumoured. This new button would replace the mute switch and could be used to perform a variety of tasks, such as taking screenshots or activating Siri.
