Ganesh Chaturthi is a vibrant Hindu festival celebrated across India to honour Lord Ganesha. Typically occurring in late August or early September, it spans ten days, with the final day, Anant Chaturdashi, being the most significant. Devotees install elaborately crafted idols of Lord Ganesha in their homes and public pandals. They offer prayers, perform aarti (ritual worship), and indulge in festive music and dance. The immersion of the idols in water bodies on the last day symbolises Lord Ganesha’s return to his celestial abode. Ganesh Chaturthi fosters community spirit, devotion, and cultural richness.
