India Women vs Sri Lanka Women highlights, Asian Games 2023 Final: India beat Sri Lanka by 19 runs to win gold medal

It is India Women who have won the gold medal. They though were expected to excel in this sport and they have done so. 117 was always going to be tough but Chamari Athapaththu started off well. However, the pacers were brilliant with the new ball, especially, Titas Sadhu. Hasini Perera and Nilakshi de Silva did keep Lanka’s hopes alive but India kept picking wickets when needed. In the end, it was a tough ask for the lower order and India Women came out on top quite comfortably.
