MYSURU: Four techies who were heading back to Bengaluru after a holiday in Udupi were killed after their car rammed into a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus on Wednesday morning, at Bellur cross in Mandya district of Karnataka.
The deceased are Namita N, 24, a resident of Bendiganahalli in Bengaluru, Vamshi Krishna, 25, from Hosakote, Bengaluru, Pankaj Sharma, 24 from Rajasthan, and Raghunath Bhajantri, 26, a resident of Dharwad. Bhajantri was reportedly at the wheel when the accident occurred Namitha and Raghunath Bhajanthri worked with Accenture and Pankaj and Vamsi with Infosys.
The KSRTC bus was parked by the roadside at the time of the accident.
Police said that the Swift car was speeding and the driver rammed into the bus, killing all four on the spot.
