Vivo Y02T, Vivo Y16 receives a price cut in India

If you are planning to purchase a budget smartphone from Vivo, then this may be the right time to do so. The Chinese smartphone maker has slashed the price of Vivo Y02T and Vivo Y16 smartphones in India. The Vivo Y02T has received a price cut of Rs 500, while the Y16 has witnessed a price drop of Rs 1,000.
Vivo India took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce the price cut. “Elevate your style game with the #vivoY02t and #vivoY16, now available at exciting new prices. #ItsMyStyle #vivo #vivoYSeries #BuyNow,” posted the company.

New price
Vivo Y02T which was launched at Rs 9,499 has received a price cut of Rs 500 and is now available at Rs 8,999. On the other hand, the Vivo Y16 comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB which are selling at Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,999 respectively after the price cut. Along with this, Vivo is also offering Zero down payment and no-cost EMI option with the smartphones.

The Vivo Y02t offers a choice between two stylish hues: Sunset Gold and Cosmic Grey. This smartphone boasts a sleek 2.5D body and a flat frame, ensuring a comfortable grip. With 4 GB of RAM, expandable by an additional 4GB through utilizing idle ROM space, seamless app switching is easily achievable. Powering this device is a robust 5000 mAh battery, complemented by a 6.51-inch FullView display. The rear camera is an 8MP single-lens setup, while the front features a 5MP selfie shooter.

The Vivo Y16 presents a 6.51-inch HD display, boasting an impressive 1600×720 pixel resolution. Powering this smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor. In the storage department, the device introduces Extended RAM 2.0, a combination of 4GB RAM and an extra 1GB of Extended RAM. Additionally, it features a triple card slot enabling memory expansion of up to 1TB.
The Vivo Y16 comes with an AI-powered dual rear camera system, featuring a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video chats, a 5MP front camera is provided.
