In a thrilling British MotoGP race at Silverstone on Sunday, Aleix Espargaro emerged victorious on the final lap, overtaking the reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia. It was a nail-biting finish that left fans on the edge of their seats.

The podium was completed by Brad Binder of KTM, who put on an impressive performance after the mid-season break of MotoGP.

Despite the intense competition, Bagnaia managed to extend his lead in the riders’ standings, benefiting from the misfortune of his closest rival, Marco Bezzecchi, who unfortunately crashed out of the race.

This victory further solidified Bagnaia’s position at the top of the championship rankings.
“It was crazy, I felt super good with the bike,” said Espargaro who continued the race’s tradition of producing a different winner every year since 2013.
Rain began to splatter the circuit late on to add spice to a tense finish with Espargaro timing his decisive move on Bagnaia to perfection.
