Beats, the Apple-owned audio company, has teamed up with streetwear brand Stussy for a limited-edition collaboration on the Beats Studio Pro headphones. According to a report by MacRumors, the new headphones feature a unique design inspired by 1990s personal electronics, with warm beige and deep gray hues reminiscent of urethane skateboard wheels. The Stussy logo features on the inside of the earcups, while the Beats logo appears on the top.
This isn’t the first time Beats has collaborated with a fashion brand. In the past, the company has partnered with the likes of Mowalola, LeBron James, and Samuel Ross. However, the Stussy collaboration marks a new direction for Beats, as it’s the first time the company has worked with a streetwear brand.
Nothing else has changed with the Beats Studio Pro as far as the specs and features are concerned. The Stussy x Beats Studio Pro headphones are more than just a pretty face, though. They offeractive noise cancellation, and spatial audio features as the regular Beats Studio Pro. The headphones also have a 40-hour battery life. The headphones support Bluetooth 5.3 and offer a USB-C port and 3.5mm jack for connectivity. They are powered by Apple’s H1 chip and offer seamless pairing with Apple devices and hands-free Siri access.
The Stussy x Beats Studio Pro headphones will be available for purchase starting December 15th at select Apple Stores and online at apple.com and stussy.com. The retail price is set at $349 USD. As they are limited edition headphones, buyers who are keen to get their hands on should act fast as the quantities might be scarce.
