Apple rolls out new firmware update for AirPods Pro 2nd-generation

In the last couple of months, Apple has dropped several new firmware updates to AirPods, especially for the Pro models. Today, the company has started rolling out another update for the AirPods Pro 2nd-generation. 9to5Mac has reported that the latest update carries the firmware version 6.1.32 and has the build number 6B32. It is now rolling out to AirPods Pro 2nd-generation.
The update applies to both AirPods Pro 2nd-genration Lightning as well as the recently launched AirPods Pro USB-C.

As far as changes are concerned, Apple has always been conservative in sharing the details of the AirPods update. This time, it’s no different than all the previous updates. There’s no detailed release notes available for the latest firmware update, except “bug fixes and other improvements”.

As we all know, Apple does not allow users to update AirPods firmware manually. It is an automatic process and happens when AirPods are charged enough and connected to the devices via Bluetooth.
However, there’s an option to check if the AirPods is running the latest firmware update or not.
To check your AirPods firmware version:
Head to Settings app on iPhone
Navigate to Bluetooth option and find your AirPods from the list of devices
Tap the “i” next to them
