The Bambiha syndicate members are currently working on a plan to take down the Lawrence Bishnoi network and establish their dominance in US and Canada, sources said.
Yogesh is also spearheading the syndicate’s operation to eliminate Bishnoi in jail or court dates, sources said, adding that Lucky Patial, a key member of the syndicate who is based in Armenia, has been coordinating with Yogesh.
Sources said Yogesh and his aides were learnt to be planning a hit on gangsters Goldy Brara and Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol – both of whom are believed to be in the US. This tip, communicated to the Interpol, helped issue a red notice as it meant that a gangwar could erupt on the US soil as well after Canada, sources said.

According to Interpol’s website, Yogesh has been charged with criminal conspiracy for a murder, attempted murder, acts done by several persons in furtherance of a common intention, possession and use of prohibited arms and ammunition.
Yogesh had fled to the US on a fake passport when he was 17, officials said. Recently, his house and known hideouts in India had been raided by the agencies and a reward of Rs 1.5 lakh was declared on him prior to the red corner notice being issued against him.
Yogesh is one of the many gangsters who have either gone underground or have escaped from India on fake passports. The Indian agencies have escalated their efforts in getting red corner notices issued against them. “A red corner notice is a request to the law enforcement authorities of Interpol’s member countries to find and temporarily detain a person until extradition, surrender, or a similar legal process can take place,” a police officer explained.

Earlier, Interpol issued a red notice to member countries against gangster Himanshu alias Bhau, who is believed to be in the US and working in coordination with Yogesh, sources said.
Bishnoi is in Ahmedabad jail on drug smuggling charges. He is also an accused in several cases being probed by Delhi Police. Bishnoi, an accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, recently hit the headlines when he claimed responsibility for the killing of Khalistani terrorist Sukhdool Singh in Canada.
