According to the poll of polls, the BJP is predicted to win 104 out of the 199 seats that went to polls in Rajasthan, clearing the 100-seat magic mark. Voting wasn’t held in one constituency due to the death of a Congress candidate.
Meanwhile, the ruling Ashok Gehlot-led Congress is predicted to bag just 85 seats. The remaining seats will be divided by other parties and Independents.
If the predictions hold true, the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government would fail to buck the revolving door trend in the state, where the ruling party is voted out by the people every five years.

What exit polls predicted
As many as seven out of the 10 exit polls gave BJP a comfortable victory in the state.
Times Now-ETG predicted a handsome 118 seats for the saffron party and just 64 for Congress. P-Marq and Matrize gave the party 115 and 122 seats respectively.
Similarly, ABP-CVoter and Dainik Bhaskar gave BJP 104 and 102 seats respectively.
On the other hand, Today’s Chanakya, India Today-Axis My India and India TV-CNX gave Congress advantage in the state.
Today’s Chanakya was the only pollster to predict a victory for Congress, albeit by a slender margin. It has forecast 101 seats for the grand old party and 89 for BJP.
Axis My India and India TV-CNX said that Congress will emerge as the single largest party in Rajasthan with a prediction of 96 and 99 seats respectively.
In 2018, Congress had wrested power from the Vasundhara Raje-led BJP, winning 100 out of 200 seats.
Gehlot became the chief minister again after the grand old party joined hands with allies.
