Bengaluru: A BSF solider and a YouTuber were killed when their two-wheelers collided in Yelahanka on Saturday night.
The deceased are Sudhakar N, a head cook working at the BSF campus in Yelahanka, and Girish alias Gini, a YouTuber.
Yelahanka traffic policesaid Sudhakar was on his way home after finishing work around 10.30pm. He came out of gate no.2 of the BSF campus on his scooter and was heading towards Bagalur Cross on the service road. At the same time, a Royal Enfield bike heading towards Devanahalli hit his scooter. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the nearby BSF hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Girish also succumbed to injuries around 2am. His pillion rider, Murali, sustained severe injuries and is undergoing treatment.
A senior cop said a case has been taken up by Yelahanka traffic police. The deceased and the injured were wearing helmets, sources said. Police are waiting for medical reports to check if any of them were under the influence of alcohol.
