Feat: Another technology milestone achieved: PM Modi on Chandrayaan-3 feat

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded a significant achievement in India’s space exploration efforts as the Propulsion Module of Chandrayaan-3 transitioned from orbiting the Moon to orbiting the Earth. Expressing his congratulations to ISRO on X, the Prime Minister said, “Another technology milestone achieved in our future space endeavors, including our goal to send an Indian to the Moon by 2040.”
Describing the operation as a unique experiment, ISRO emphasized the significance of this step in the Chandrayaan-3 mission.The primary aim remains demonstrating a soft landing near the lunar south polar region and conducting experiments utilizing the instruments on the ‘Vikram‘ lander and the ‘Pragyan’ rover.
