Apple has released new updates to its suite of professional apps including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion and Compressor. The update brings bug fixes and performance improvements for most of the apps.

When Apple announced the Final Cut Pro for iPad, the app offered a slew of features similar to the Mac version. However, it missed out on one important feature and many creators also found this missing feature a little problematic.
The first update finally bridges the gap between the Mac and iPad versions of the Final Cut Pro. The update finally brings keyboard shortcuts for the app.
As per the release notes for Final Cut Pro 1.1 for iPad, the app now supports more keyboard shortcuts than the basic ones. With the update, pressing the N will turn off or on snapping. The Control – I shortcut show details when browsing clips and pressing S key toggles skimming.
Apart from that, the update also includes overall stability and performance improvements for the app.

- Turn snapping on or off using the keyboard shortcut N.
- Move the playhead backward or forward 10 frames using the keyboard shortcuts Shift-Left Arrow and Shift-Right Arrow.
- Show info for browser clips using the keyboard shortcut Control-I.
- Turn skimming on or off using the keyboard shortcut S.
- Turn audio skimming on or off using the keyboard shortcut Shift-S.
- Split and switch multicam clip angles using the keyboard shortcuts 1, 2, 3, and 4.
- Show or hide the jog wheel using the keyboard shortcut Control-Shift-W; expand or collapse it using Control-W.
- Switch the jog wheel between playhead mode and nudge mode using the keyboard shortcut Shift-W.
- Resolves an issue with custom fonts not appearing in the inspector.
- Fixes bugs that improve overall stability and performance.
- Updates to other Pro apps from Apple
