According to a report by SBS Biz, the South Korean smartphone maker may launch the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones on January 17.The company is expected to hold a physical launch event in San Francisco, USA. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series is said to consist of three smartphones — Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The report also reveals that the upcoming Galaxy S24 series of smartphones may come with Generative AI capabilities similar to ChatGPT.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series expected features
Leaked information making the rounds online has generated significant excitement surrounding the imminent release of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This highly-anticipated device is expected to boast a dazzling 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED LTPO display, featuring an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. A notable upgrade includes the frame material, as reports suggest a transition from the Aluminum frame of its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, to a sturdier Titanium frame.
In terms of performance, the phone is poised to be powered by the forthcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, set to make its debut later this year. Rumours suggest that the primary camera will retain its remarkable 200MP sensor, along with a 12MP sensor, a 50MP sensor, a 10MP sensor, and a 12MP selfie camera.
Running on Android 14 with One UI 6, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumoured to be equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery, supporting convenient 45W charging.
