The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan Asia Cup clash is scheduled for Saturday, September 2. This is in fact the first time the two traditional rivals will be going up against each other in the ODI format since the 2019 ICC ODI World Cup. India and Pakistan clashed in that edition of the World Cup on June 16 and India won that encounter by 89 runs. The last edition of the Asia Cup where India lost to Pakistan by 5 wickets was played in the T20 format.
Needless to say, fans on both sides of the border are waiting with bated breath to witness the next installment of this storied rivalry.
