iQoo is all set to launch its first and also India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered smartphone — iQoo 12 5G — on December 12. The handset will be the BMW Motorsport edition and ahead of the official announcement, the company has already announced a couple of details about the upcoming smartphone, including software details.

The OS also includes features like motion blur for visual enhancements and improved multitasking performance. Personalisation options have also seen an improvement. This includes customisable lock screen clocks, always-on display styles, and a minimalist theme. Privacy and security are prioritised with Smart Mirroring and additional password protection for hidden photos.

As far as official announcements are concerned, iQoo 12 5G will be the flagship phone of the company. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the latest flagship chip from the company. It is now confirmed to run FunTouch OS 14 with Android 14.
And, it will also come with IQoo’s own Q1 chip for better performance and resource management. Moreover, the handset is also confirmed to feature a 144Hz refresh rate display.
