Reliance Jio’s streaming platform JioCinemaseems to be down for some users across the country. JioCinema is the official broadcaster for India-Australia T20 series that starts today. Incidentally, Downdetector, the website that tracks internet outages, is showing issues with some of the Jio services, but not on JioCinema per se. The outage in Jio services seems to have peaked around 7 pm IST as per the graph on Downdetector.
Some users on Downdetector too have complained of JioCinema showing error. The app is asking some users to update, while some have complained that they have not received login OTP despite trying multiple times.
Several users on microblogging website X, formerly Twitter, too have complained of livestream of the India-Australia match on JioCinema not working. The match livestream is reportedly having issues on JioCinema app as well as the website. Here are some of the posts shared on X:
