‘Keep believing’: Michael Vaughan trolls Pakistan with astonishing semis qualification scenarios

NEW DELHI: With Pakistan all but out of the World Cup semis race, former England captain Michael Vaughan on Friday trolled Babar Azam and co., sharing some almost-unachievable and jaw-dropping numbers for them to book a berth in top-four.
In the latest round of his trolling of the Pakistan cricket team, Vaughan took a cheeky swipe at the team and asked them to ‘keep believing’ in their chances of qualifying for the semis.
Sharing some mind-boggling number of Pakistan’s qualification scenarios, Vaughan cheekily also mentioned, ‘you never know’ in his social media post.

Skipper Babar on Friday blasted critics, telling them “it’s easy to give advice on TV” as he refused to surrender his World Cup dreams.
Pakistan have to pull off a miraculous win against defending champions England to oust New Zealand as the fourth and last semi-finalist on net run rate.
Failure to do so will spark questions over Azam’s captaincy, a position he has held for three years.
Pakistan, the 1992 champions, started the World Cup with wins over the Netherlands and Sri Lanka but then suffered back-to-back losses to India and Australia.
Defeats then to Afghanistan and the Proteas were followed by victories over Bangladesh and New Zealand.
Pakistan play their final group-game on Saturday against already-eliminated England.
