Oppo teased its A2x smartphone last week and the company has now unveiled the phone. The product page of the website is now live on the company’s China website. The key highlight of the phone includes a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset and a single camera setup at the back.
Oppo A2x specifications
The affordable handset from Oppo comes with a 6.56-inch LCD display and features HD+ resolution with 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display has a peak brightness of 720-nits.
The handset is backed by a 5000mAh battery. However, the charging speed hasn’t been mentioned by the company on the website. Moving on, the handset runs ColorOS 13.1 based on the Android 13 operating system.
In terms of camera, the handset comes with a single rear camera of 12MP with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP camera at the front in a centrally placed water drop notch.
The dual-SIM phone does not support 5G connectivity. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack as well as an IP54 dust and water-resistant rating.

Oppo has launched the A2x smartphone in three colour options – Black, Yellow and Purple. The handset has two variants – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB priced at CNY 1,099 ($150) and CNY 1,399 ($180).
Also, the handset is already available for purchase in China and it seems unlikely that the handset will make its way to the international market.
