Pixel 8 Pro: Watch: Google’s ‘Spooky’ ad as Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro go on sale

[ad_1]

Google has adopted a rather funny way of highlighting features of its Pixel smartphones or “sending the message” to Apple urging the company to bring RCS support on iPhones. At the centre of these campaigns is a string of witty advertisements. Carrying this trend forward, Google has released yet another ad as its newest phones — the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro — go on sale today (October 12).

Last year, Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro went on sale on October 13 – something that the company highlighted in its latest ad. Google then says that ‘October the 13th’ falls on a Friday – recalling the old Western culture where “Friday the 13th” is considered unlucky.
“Just because you’re a tech company that is all about science, engineering and logic doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful,” the ad said. It then reminds people that the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are going on sale on October 12.
“Make your luckiest upgrade yet at the Google Store, starting on October 12th,” the company said.

The e-commerce company is providing a number of discounts and up to Rs 42,150 exchange offer for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. In addition to this, customers can avail Rs 3,000 extra exchange bonus on select old smartphones.
Recently, Google again took a jibe at Apple over RCS messaging saying that the iPhone has ‘blue bubbles’ and the Pixel 8 Pro has a new colour called Bay.
