Right-wing group Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena’s president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the Shyam Nagar area during the afternoon, as confirmed by the police.
According to Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra, initial reports suggest that four individuals entered a residence where Gogamedi was present and opened fire.One of Gogamedi’s security personnel and another person were injured in the firing.
Gogamedi was rushed to a private hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
