NEW DELHI: The Indian cricket fraternity took to their social media handles to extend their birthday greetings to former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan who turned 39 on Friday.
One birthday wish that hogged the limelight came from none other than the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar who extended his wishes to Pathan in a truly distinctive manner.
Sachin used a line from Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movie ‘Pathan’ to wish the other Pathan from Gujarat.
“Happy birthday, Irfan. Maze karo aur jhoomte raho kyunki jhoomein jo ‘Pathan’…mehfil hi lut jaaye,” Sachin posted on X.

Irfan currently serves as a commentator in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. He has established himself as a frequent presence in the commentary box and enjoys a substantial following, with millions of fans tuning in to his commentary.
