School bus conductor held for ‘raping’ KG student in Bikaner | India News

JAIPUR: A three-and-a-half-year-old kindergarten student was allegedly raped repeatedly in Bikaner by her school bus conductor, who apparently warned her against speaking about it as “her parents would die and she would be left alone”.
Madanlal (34) has been arrested. Two others, driver Kamal and a female bus assistant, Pooja, are under the scanner as they were present when Madanlal assaulted the child, police said.
The matter came to light on October 13 when the child’s mother noticed swelling in her private parts while bathing her. When asked, the girl revealed the assault and the threat from the conductor. Following this, the mother recorded a video of the child narrating her ordeal and gave it to the police, leading to Madanlal’s arrest on Saturday.
According to the mother’s complaint, the child had also informed her teacher about the assault, only to be “scolded by her, asked to keep quiet and to finish her lunch”. According to the mother’s complaint, Madanlal had known the child since she started going to school and was her bus driver at a previous school. The cops said they found a photo of the girl with Madanlal.
