Sony launches its most premium TWS earbuds at an introductory price of Rs 21,990

Sony has announced its flagship TWS earbuds in India. Expanding the TWS lineup, the company has launched the latest TWS earbuds WF-1000X M5. The latest TWS earbuds come packed with lots of new features The electronic giant has announced the launch of WF-1000X such as next-generation noise cancelling processor, a small form factor, bigger drivers, Dolby ATMOS support and more.
Sony WF-1000X M5: Price and availability
Sony has launched the WF-1000X M5 at Rs 24,990. However, as a part of the launch offer, the company is offering a flat discount of Rs 3,000 on the purchase of these earbuds. Moreover, between September 27 and October 15, buyers will get a free SRS-XB100 portable Bluetooth speaker worth Rs 4,990.
The TWS earbuds will be available for purchase starting October 18 and will be sold via all online and offline channels such as Sony Center, major electronic stores and e-commerce portals in India.
Also, the TWS earbuds come in Black and Platinum Silver colour options.
Sony WF-1000X M5: Features
Sony’s WF-1000XM5 features a bigger Dynamic Driver X that claims to offer clear and rich sound output. They come with a total of six microphones for better noise cancellation. The Integrated Processor V2 claims to enhance audio processing and ensure crystal-clear, low-distortion sound, while High-Resolution Audio and 360 Reality Audio create an immersive listening experience.
For calls, the WF-1000XM5 employs AI-based noise reduction and bone conduction sensors for clear voice transmission even in noisy environments. They’re designed for comfort, 25% smaller and 20% lighter than their predecessor, with various ear tip sizes for a perfect fit.
The earbuds offer seamless Bluetooth connectivity through the Integrated Processor V2 and QN2e. They come with features like Adaptive Sound Control and Speak-to-Chat, and they’re water-resistant with an IPX4 rating. Battery life is rated at 8 hours and it supports fast charging as well.
