Supreme Court directs courts to monitor progress in criminal cases involving MPs an MLAs

NEW DELHI: Supreme court on Thursday directed high courts to track and monitor proceedings in criminal cases lodged against MPs an MLAs, and register suo motu cases against them.
The court issued a slew of directions for quick disposal of these cases to ensure time bound completion of trial.
