NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force is preparing to conduct a multi-national exercise Tarang Shakti that aims to bring together air forces of several countries.
The exercise that was earlier scheduled to be held later this year will now be conducted next year.
The exercise, which had originally been planned for the latter part of this year, has been rescheduled to next year, to better align with the schedules of the participating friendly foreign countries and to ensure maximum participation. This would also enable the inclusion of certain Air Forces who have evinced an interest in the exercise,” defence officials said.
India has participated in many such exercises including the French Orion exercise held at the Mon De Marsan air base in France.
