NEW DELHI: Team India on Thursday achieved yet another milestone in their historic cricket journey as they became the second team to play 200 T20Is after Pakistan.
The Indian team scripted history in the opening T20I of the five-match series against the West Indies at Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.
Pakistan are sitting right at top on this list as they have played 223 T20Is, winning 134 and losing 80 games till date.
New Zealand are at third spot having played 193 T20Is followed by Sri Lanka and West Indies (179 each), Australia (174), England (173), South Africa (168), and Bangladesh and Ireland (152 each).
Out of 199 matches, India have won 130 (three victories in tied matches) and lost 63 games, one tied game vs NZ at Napier on November 22, 2022, which did not produce a result (DL/DLS par score) and five no-result games.
