Now, the smartphone maker is all set to further expand its foldable smartphone lineup with the launch of a new flip phone. Tecno has confirmed that it will launch the Tecno Phantom V Flip smartphone on September 22.

Tecno has shared a media invite confirming that it will launch the Phantom V Flip smartphone globally on September 22. “TECNO has updated its website confirming the launch of TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G that inspires its buyers to ‘Flip In Style’. The new smartphone is all set for a global launch on September 22 at 12:30 PM IST,” reads the invite.
Tecno is also confirmed to launch the foldable smartphone at the same time in India. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Amazon.in India. The e-commerce major has also created a dedicated microsite for the yet-to-launch smartphone.
Tecno Phantom V Flip likely specs
The upcoming Tecno Phantom V Flip is rumored to come with a primary FHD+ display measuring 6.9 inches and offering a resolution of 1080p. Powering this foldable smartphone is anticipated to be an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset.
Expected to run on the Android 13 operating system with Tecno’s custom HiOS layer, the Tecno Phantom V Flip is projected to showcase a 64MP main camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. Rumors also suggest that this flip phone will boast 8GB of RAM and offer 256GB of internal storage.
The Tecno Phantom V Flip is rumored to house a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. In terms of aesthetics, it is speculated to be available in three color options: black, white, and purple.
