NEW DELHI: On the road to recovery at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru after surviving a car crash last December, wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant on Thursday celebrated the birthday of the academy coach.
In a video posted on Instagram, Pant along with NCA head VVS Laxman among others were seen celebrating the birthday.
The coach has been working with Pant at the NCA for the last few months. In the post Pant also thanked the coach for taking care of him.
Pant, who had knee ligament surgery after surviving a car crash has been making significant progress. The 25-year-old has commenced batting as well as keeping in the nets.
Pant is currently following a fitness programme designed for him which includes strength, flexibility and running.
