Vivo: Vivo X100, X100 Pro China launch window tipped: What to expect

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is reportedly planning to launch its next-generation premium smartphones soon. Rumours suggest that the photography-focused Vivo X100 flagship lineup in the coming weeks. The Vivo X100 series will succeed the Vivo X90 series which was launched in India in April. A tipster named Panda is Bald took to the Chinese social media platform Weibo to reveal that Vivo is expected to launch the upcoming smartphone series will launch in its home turf in mid-November.
The camera, battery, and charging features of both the X100 and X100 Promodels have also been leaked.Another earlier post shared by leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) also claimed thatMediaTek is scheduled to reveal the Dimensity 9300 on November 6.
The tipster also suggests that the Vivo X100 series is set to make its debut during the third week of November (November 13 – 15). Rumours also suggest that the Dimensity 9300-powered Vivo X100 series smartphones will offer similar performance as the Apple iPhone 15 Pro.
Vivo X100, X100 Pro: What to expect
As per a Weibo post shared by DCS, the vanilla Vivo X100 model is expected to house a Sony IMX920 primary camera. The smartphone is also likely to come equipped with a 5,100mAh battery that may support 120W wired charging. Like the X90, the X100 is likely to lack wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the Vivo X100 Pro is rumoured to feature the Sony IMX989 sensor as the primary camera. The Pro variant of the lineup is also expected to pack a 5,400mAh battery that may offer 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Rumours also suggest that both smartphones in the series may feature an IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera. Vivo is also expected to announce the X100 Pro+ variant in the first quarter of 2024.
