Vivo is preparing to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo X100 series. The renders of the Vivo X100 Pro+ surfaced on the internet, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from Vivo’s upcoming flagship smartphone.
The renders show the Vivo X100 Pro+ donning a design similar to that of the Vivo X90 Pro+. However, there are some differences between the two to set them apart.
The renders show the back panel of the phone, which now features a centred camera module, and the strip that distinguished the previous model is gone. The renders show the X100 Pro+ in two colours – black and red. Apart from that, the phone looks quite similar to its predecessor.
Vivo X100 series: What to expect
Notable tipster Digital Chat Station shared some details about the upcoming Vivo X100 on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. According to the tipster, Vivo X100 will feature a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W charging. The X100 Pro,, on the other hand, will have a 5,100mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The top-of-the-line X100 Pro+ is expected to have a larger 5,400mAh battery, but the wired charging speed will max out at 100W, with wireless charging remaining at 50W like the X100 Pro.
The tipster previously revealed that the X100 Pro and Pro+ will have IP68 certification, dual stereo speakers, an X-Axis linear motor, and an IR Blaster. Additionally, a recent report suggested that the X100 Pro may feature satellite connectivity.
The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are expected to be powered by the unreleased Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the Pro+ model will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. All three phones are also rumoured to have upgraded cameras, as well as Vivo’s V3 imaging chip onboard.
The Vivo X100 series is expected to debut in the coming months.
