NEW DELHI: After landing in India on Sunday, Brazil‘s football legend Ronaldinho visited the Sreebhumi Durga Puja Pandal in Kolkata on Monday.
In an ANI video on microblogging website X (formerly Twitter), the football icon was seen participating in puja. He is on a two-day visit to West Bengal.

On Sunday, an exuberant crowd of fans welcomed Ronaldinho at the airport. He is also expected to meet the state Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee.
It is the first time that Ronaldinho is visiting football-crazy Kolkata, which has hosted numerous football legends in the past, including Pele, Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
In 2004, and 2005, Ronaldinho was voted FIFA World Player of the Year. He won the World Cup with Brazil in 2002 and the Champions League with Barcelona in 2006.
