NEW DELHI: A fit-again India skipper Jasprit Bumrah was seen bowling full throttle as Team India began their training for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland.
Coming back from a long injury lay-off, the T20I series is being seen as a fitness test for Bumrah ahead of the Asia Cup and the following ODI World Cup.
As Bumrah bowled full tilt in the nets, batters were seen ducking for cover agianst his mean bouncers and toe-crushing yorkers.
“The moment we have all been waiting for. @Jaspritbumrah93 like we have always known him,” wrote BCCI in X, formally known as Twitter.
Bumrah last played an international match back in September 2022 before being sidelined due to a back injury.
In the three T20Is against Ireland, Bumrah will be leading the side in the absence of Hardik Pandya and other seniors.
