Marnus Labuschagne‘s seriousness towards every fine detail about his batting once again showed up when he got into the shed of the ground staff at the Oval in London and used their tools to work on his bat ahead of the final Ashes Test against hosts England.
In a post on Twitter, the 29-year-old Aussie batter could be seen getting the weight of his bat right as his team makes a push to win the Ashes.
Australia lead the five-match series 2-1, after getting out of jail with the help of rain and Labuschagne’s century at Old Trafford to draw the fourth Test.
Australia had won the first two Tests, after which England pulled one back and were in the driver’s seat to make it 2-2 in Manchester before rain played spoil sport.
The fifth Test begins on Thursday.
