The girl, who had come with her family to see India play in the second ODI, couldn’t get the chance to see Kohli bat as the former India captain was rested for the game. But Kohli more than made it up for his young fan by accepting the gift, giving an autograph and posing for pictures.
The BCCI posted a video of the moment, in which skipper Rohit Sharma, who also didn’t feature in the second ODI, and Suryakumar Yadav are also seen getting clicked with the fans.
“Fan gestures like these Autographs and selfies ft. #TeamIndia Captain @ImRo45, @imVkohli& @surya_14kumar. Cricket fans here in Barbados also gifted a bracelet made for Virat Kohli,” the BCCI wrote in the video post.
India lost the match by six wickets, as the West Indies levelled the three-match ODI series at 1-1.
