State-run telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has officially launched its WhatsApp chatbot service to improve the customer experience. The latest chatbot will offer users a convenient way to access various services of BharatFibre. Earlier, in an initiative to improve customer experience, BSNL upgraded its Selfcare app which now provides enhanced services to its users.

BSNL’s WhatsApp chatbot will offer users features that will help in offering a simplified experience. Using this chatbot, customers can request and book a new BSNL fiber connection and pay bills (including landline and FTTH bills) using the secure online payment feature.
The WhatsApp chatbot will also help BSNL users access their bills, invoices, and usage details and will be able to download PDF invoices for their records. The chatbot also has a detailed transaction history feature which will help users to keep track of their transactions.
BSNL users will also be able to report issues or concerns by booking a complaint directly through the chatbot. With the chatbot, users will also be allowed to stay informed about the status of lodged complaints, ensuring timely resolution.

The company has also confirmed that the WhatsApp chatbot will also enable users to explore and request changes to existing plans through the Plan Change feature.
